
Chamomile, Lavender Relax Tea
With the flu-fighting power of Lemon & Honey!
If this cold weather and shorter daylight has you feeling sluggish and run-down, then it might be time to take some time for yourself with a warm cup of our chamomile, lavender Relax Tea. From the calming properties of chamomile and lavender, to the immune-boosting qualities of lemon and honey, this tea has everything you need to get you through this fall/winter season.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup of Hot Water
2 strips of Lemon Peel
1 tsp of Chamomile Flowers
1/2 tsp Lavender Flowers
1 tsp Honey, optional
Directions:
- Add lemon peels, chamomile flowers and lavender flowers to a tea infuser.
- Steep in hot water for 2-5 minutes, depending on preferred strength of tea.
- Sweeten with honey.
*Recipe yields 1 tea.
The next time you’re having trouble shutting off from a busy day at work or hectic family scheduling, just grab a good book or turn on your favourite show and wind down with this soothing and relaxing tea – your mind and body will thank you for it!
